Transdev Lead Customer Service Representative in Omaha, Nebraska

Overview

The Lead Customer Service Representative provides support to the Customer Service Representative staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance, coaching, and direction to front line staff members

  • Identify training needs and communicate these needs to department management and supervisors

  • Manage all first level customer escalations in a timely manner

  • Provide back up call center support when call queues are backed up to ensure service levels are met

  • Perform quality review of all same day reservations including no runs, duplicates, and self-service request

  • Provide administrative support to staff, department, and management

  • Participate in a rotating schedule as an on-call resource and back up for afterhours staff, including if necessary, taking the afterhours phone calls if staff are unavailable or covering holiday hours as needed

  • Adhere to and ensure all company policies are followed

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed and/or assigned

Possess valid authorization to work in the United States required

High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

Minimum 1+ years’ experience working in call center environment preferred.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Bilingual communication skills are a plus.

Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, Internet software, e-mail, and/or database software preferred. Basic computer skills are required.

Must be able to work flexible hours.

Must be hospitable, guest/customer service oriented, and be willing to serve the needs of passengers.
